What Download Sites Do I Recommend?

Currently I recommend these 2 sites:

1.PSP Blender

Only $37 dollars gives you quite a bang for your buck. You can be downloading games, movies, music and even tv shows just minutes from now. All titles available in HD. Give it a try.

2.All PSP Games

Gain access to over 100,000,000 PSP downloads including wallpapers, screensavers and themes. Currently 34.95 for 1 year access or 44.95 for access without an expiration date.

Your comments on these sites are welcome. Let me know what you think!

How Do I Connect My PSP To The Internet?

Follow these steps:

1. Disable the security encryption for your wireless router while doing the setup. Make sure the WLAN switch is turned on.

2. On your PSP screen navigate to the settings, then scroll down to network settings. Highlight and click on "infrastructure mode". Then click on "new connection".

3. Your PSP should then be able to scan for the strongest network signal. It is the first option on the menu. The strongest connection should be your wireless router. Once that is done click on your SSID.

4. Here highlight none and move on to address settings. Highlight "easy" and move on.

5. Create a name for your connection. Review your SSID, security settings and IP address. Save your settings. Once this is done you can test your connection by opening the browser in the network icon to your right.

Any Tips You Can Give Us?

1. You can lock the buttons of a PSP so you don't accidentally press any same as you do with a cellphone. Its almost an imperative if you are gonna be walking around with the PSP in your pockets.

Simply push the "Power" button downward. To unlock pull it back lightly to prevent the PSP going into standby mode.

2. Turn off the screen of the PSP while listening to music by pressing down on the "Brightness Control" button for 2 seconds. Pressing any other key will turn the screen back on.

How Do I Download Music To My PSP?

You need 2 things: A CD ripper and a PSP video converter.

A CD ripper can convert CD music into MP3 format. It can also convert audio files to other popular formats like WAV and WMA.

A converter you can change movies to the appropriate format for the PSP.

Now that you have the requisite software, simply use the ripper to change your audio files to MP3 format. Then load these MP3s on the converter. Make sure to highlight all the files you are moving to your PSP and that you have chosen the right MP3 PSP format.

Finally, you connect your PSP with your USB cable and put the files in the "H:PSPMUSIC" folder.

A second simpler way is just to sign up to one of the many PSP download membership sites on the web. These will allow you to download straight to your PSP.

How Do I Download Games?

Connect your PSP to your computer with a USB cable. The computer will recognize the PSP as a memory device. Drag and drop your game file to your PSP just like you do for any of your internal folders. Once you are done, tell the computer to disconnect and wait for the computer to give you an all clear sign.

Your PSP will now have a GAME folder. Simply click on the memory stick option and a list of games should then appear. Simple as pie.

What PSP Firmware Version Should I Have?

If you are gonna be downloading from the internet you should have Firmware version 1.5 or less. You might have to downgrade otherwise.

How Much Memory Should My PSP Have?

I recommend a good 1 Gig of memory. 256 MB might do but at minimum go for 512 MB. If you are gonna be downloading games, videos and music you want all the space you can get.
